Stop guessing.
Start with a plan.

Strength coaching built around a clear 90-day starting plan — your body, your schedule, your goals. No guesswork, no generic templates. One place to begin.

Limited to 12 active clients · Application required

Who this is for

Coaching that fits a real person — not a demographic.

The application filters for fit on both sides. Here's who tends to do well, and who won't.

Beginners starting from zero

You've never trained, or it's been years. We build a foundation you can actually keep — movement, technique, consistency — before anything advanced.

Busy professionals

Your calendar is full. Sessions and programming fit around real weeks, travel, and deadlines — 2–3 focused hours a week, not a lifestyle overhaul.

Post-rehab returners

You're cleared by your clinician and ready to rebuild. Programming respects your history and bridges the gap back to full strength. (I work alongside, not in place of, your medical team.)

Athletes with a specific goal

A race, a tryout, a lift you want to hit. Targeted programming with check-ins and adjustments tied to a real date on the calendar.

Honestly, this is not for you if

  • Anyone looking for a 30-day shred or overnight transformation.
  • People who want a meal plan handed to them with no questions asked.
  • Clients who aren't willing to show up consistently for 90 days.
How coaching works

Four steps. Then it repeats.

Coaching isn't a one-time handoff. It's a loop: assess, program, guide, adjust — every single week.

  1. 01

    Assessment

A 60-minute session (in person or video). Movement screen, history, goals, and what your weeks actually look like. This is the input everything is built from.

  2. 02

    Personalized program

You get a written program — exercises, sets, reps, and why each is there. Built for your equipment, your time, and the goal we agreed on.

  3. 03

    Nutrition guidance

Practical nutrition targets tied to your goal — not a rigid meal plan. Habits and portions you can run in a real kitchen, on a real schedule.

  4. 04

    Check-ins & adjustments

Weekly check-ins. We read the data — how you feel, what's moving, what's stuck — and adjust the next week. The plan is alive, not a PDF you're handed once.

The starting plan

You can picture day one.

This is the angle made tangible. Not a vague promise — a concrete look at the first 30, 60, and 90 days, so you know exactly what you're signing up for.

Days 1–30

Establish the baseline

  • Movement screen and baseline lifts recorded.
  • Technique-first sessions — no loading you can't own.
  • First nutrition targets set and tested against a real week.
  • Weekly check-in #1–4: what's working, what's not.
2
Days 31–60

Build the engine

  • Progressive load on the lifts that earned it.
  • Conditioning layered in around your schedule.
  • Nutrition targets adjusted from real check-in data.
  • Mid-point review against the goal we set on day one.

Days 61–90

Prove it & decide what's next

  • Re-test the baseline lifts and markers from day one.
  • Tune the program toward the next 90-day block or a specific event.
  • You leave with a clear picture of what worked and why.
  • Decision point: continue, pause, or hand off with a plan.

About the coach

Marcus Reid — the plan comes first.

I'm a strength and conditioning coach based in Austin, Texas, working with clients in person and online. My approach is simple: a clear plan beats motivation, and consistency beats intensity.

Pricing honesty

Real structure. No DM-for-prices runaround.

Here's how it's priced and why the final number comes after the application — not to be evasive, but because the right program depends on what we actually find in the assessment.

Per session

Single 1:1 in-person or online sessions. Best for trying the coaching before committing to a block.

[Quoted after application]

Monthly coaching

Programming + weekly check-ins + messaging support. The way most clients work with me.

[Quoted after application]

90-day package

The full starting plan — assessment, program, nutrition, and check-ins across the full block.

[Quoted after application]

Why after application? Session length, frequency, online vs. in person, and your specific goal all change the program — and the price. Quoting a flat number before we've talked would be less honest, not more.

FAQ

Answered honestly.

The questions I get most. If yours isn't here, the application has space for it.

Yes, and arguably you're the ideal client. Beginners benefit most from a clear plan and good technique from day one, rather than undoing bad habits later. We start at your actual level — no assumptions.

Both. In person at my studio in East Austin, or fully online with video check-ins and a written program you can run anywhere. Some clients mix the two. The application helps us figure out which fits your life.

The program is built around your real schedule, travel included. Online clients get hotel- and bodyweight-friendly versions when they're on the road, so a trip doesn't reset your progress.

Honestly — it depends on consistency, starting point, and the goal. Most clients feel noticeably better within 2–3 weeks and see measurable changes by the 60-day mark. Anyone promising faster is selling, not coaching.

I review every application personally. If it looks like a fit, you'll get an email within 2 business days to book a free 20-minute call. If it's not a fit, I'll say so and point you toward something that is.
